As a Scrub/Scout Nurse at St Andrew's, you will play a crucial role in our 240-bed facility with eleven operating Theatre Suites, performing over 40,000 procedures annually. Join a passionate team covering specialities such as cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, urology, orthopaedics, and more. Join Us If You Have:
Extensive experience in one or more of the following specialties: ENT, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Spine/Neuro, Cardiac, Urology, General/Colorectal, Plastics or Robot - da Vinci. As well as:
- Minimum 3 years recent experience as a Perioperative Registered Nurse/Scrub Scout
- Strong commitment to patient safety and person-centred care
- Well developed organisation and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Initiative, sound reasoning, and judgment skills
- Commitment to continued professional development
- Interest in mentoring nursing students and graduates
