Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. As an RN at the Aged Care Facility, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care, monitoring residents’ health conditions, administering medications, and coordinating care plans to ensure the well-being and comfort of our elderly residents. This position offers an opportunity for career growth and advancement, with the responsibility of being the nurse in charge during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality medical care and support to elderly residents in accordance with their individual care plans and needs.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions, assess changes in health status, and respond promptly to any concerns or emergencies.
• Administer medications accurately and ensure compliance with medication protocols and procedures.
• Coordinate care plans and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver holistic care to residents.
• Act as the nurse in charge during the night shift, overseeing the delivery of care and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
• Document and maintain accurate medical records and reports in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in aged care.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly residents and their families.
• Ability to work independently and take on leadership responsibilities during the night shift.
