With a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol and sustainable agricultural products.
To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months. As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries.
About the role
Applications are invited for a permanent Work Execution Officer (WEO) to join our Herbert Civil Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Wilmar's Civil Business Unit in the Herbert Region. The WEO role is instrumental in supporting the members of the Herbert Civil team in the following areas:
- Parts and Materials Management
- Information management
- Work Management process compliance and facilitation
- Schedule development and administration
- Time and attendance payroll system (Kronos) support
Selection Criteria will include the following:
- Highly organised with an ability to coordinate parts delivery and feedback on status of work programs and materials
- Utilise computerised maintenance system (SAP) to enter information, review identified & completed work
- Ensure Work Orders and related permits are completed correctly
- High Risk Work Licence including Crane and Forklift
- HR Truck licence
- Front End Loader ticket
- Common User Competencies skills - welding / fitting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Working knowledge of Time & Attendance (Kronos) and SAP systems
