What you will need to succeed:
- A high degree of empathy
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- A passion for helping others
- A passion to work in the Aged Care sector
- A police check (or willingness to obtain)
- Respect for all people regardless of their circumstances
- Reliable and punctual
- Live locally to Melbourne’s eastern suburbs
- Certificate in individual support, current enrollment in nursing, or willingness to commence training in ageing support.

Personal Carer duties include:
- Provide friendly assistance to residents
- Assist residents with daily personal, and hygiene care tasks
- Assist residents with social, recreational and leisure activities
- Assist residents mobility with the use of equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ensuring the resident's welfare and comfort always
- Works well within a team
- Pays attention to detail
- Passionate about working in aged care
- Ability to build rapport with people of all backgrounds
- Willingness to work under Work Health and Safety guidelines
