The Opportunity
Pittwater Palms Retirement Village is a welcoming retirement living community, set amongst delightful tropical gardens and home to 180+ independent living and assisted living units. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will enjoy connecting with residents by providing high-quality care & social support, with a focus on building well-being, independence and fun. Pittwater Palms is an independent living community, not a residential aged care facility, so you will enjoy the atmosphere of working alongside a team of friendly residents & staff!
This is a casual role assisting our team filling shifts as needed with the opportunity to become permanent part-time in the future. Shifts consist of morning or afternoon followed by a sleep-over shift, where you will be paid to sleep in our village overnight with accommodation and meals provided!

- As no experience is necessary, we will train you to enhance your qualification.
You will
- Enjoy connecting with residents living in our assisted living apartments and ensure they are receiving personal and social care support that promotes their independence
- Provide assistance to residents and community with tasks including (but not limited to): medication reminders, light domestic cleaning duties, admin tasks and welfare checks of an evening
- Support residents with recreational and social activities around the village.
- Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
- Be passionate, trustworthy, reliable and enjoy connecting with residents, colleagues and the wider community
What you will bring
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, Health Services Assistance or Nursing Qualification (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
- Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
- Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
