Job Description: We are currently seeking compassionate and empathetic individuals to join our team as Aged Care Carers. As an Aged Care Carer with Conexson, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors by assisting them with daily activities and offering companionship and emotional support. We have ongoing shifts available at various aged care facilities across the Bunbury region, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Assist elderly residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with residents, fostering a warm and supportive environment.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion in all interactions with residents, respecting their dignity and autonomy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the holistic wellbeing of residents, advocating for their needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report any changes in residents' health status to appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
- Valid rights to work in Australia.
- Driver's License (preferred).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Covid-19 vaccination, including booster.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent paid experience.
- First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Flu Vaccination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
