WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS - This position is responsible for promoting sales to consumers via outbound calls in order to identify travel needs, present/explain the NCL brand and provide exceptional service and quality customer assistance with corporate goals and standards. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Acquire in depth industry and company knowledge in order to articulate product features, benefits, pricing and make recommendations to include promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products such as stateroom upgrades, onboard credits and other shipboard amenities. 
  • Use product and travel expertise to build rapport and long-term relationships with cruise customers providing a seamless customer service experience. 
  • Efficiently and consistently handle outbound & inbound telephone & email inquiries in a positive, knowledgeable, and professional manner. 
  • Contact direct group leads and qualify them based on their group's needs and requests. Make recommendations and secure, allocate, and book group space and forward group contract to direct guest. 
  • Sell the full experience and maximize revenue opportunities by offering available ancillary products such as stateroom upgrades, land & travel protection components, etc. 
  • Establish and maintain quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, establishing rapport, identifying and meeting customer needs and expectations. 
  • Follow up with consumers in order to close sale. 
  • Create customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service, understanding customer motivation, expectations, and needs

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • 1+ years’ equivalent work experience. Contact Center sales and service experience is preferred, along with a passion for travel
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional rapport with a diverse, well-traveled customer base. 
  • Possess a strong drive and high energy to reach specified sales goals. 
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation skills and ability to think through solutions  
  • Outstanding Customer service skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain professional composure while under pressure
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail oriented, with ability to efficiently use time and resources. 
  • Must be a team player with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction and service quality.
