Who are we:
Movement in Mind is a health, fitness and rehab centre boasting a beautiful rehab clinic, a stunning private studio with state of the art equipment and an outdoor area conveniently located on Magill road in St Morris.
Movement in Mind was developed by owner and lead Exercise Physiologist Christian Cirocco. Having worked in commercial gyms for close to 10 years, Christian saw that the commercial gym environment did not accommodate everyone. The intimidation, noise, culture and accessibility made it challenging to provide a service the way he truly wanted.
After pursuing his career as an Exercise Physiologist, Christian went on to develop his dream of creating an environment that even the most vulnerable and apprehensive client could feel free from judgement and empowered to pursue their goals.
About the role:
We are offering up to 4 Personal Trainers an opportunity to run their business within the Movement in Mind clinic and gym studio on weekends and before/after working hours on business days (Before 7:00am and after 5:30/6:30pm).
In order to avoid overcrowding, we are looking for 3 Personal Trainers at a single time to utilize our gym studio space and 1 Personal Trainer to use our private clinic room. Ensure to consider your preference for which room you prefer in your application as limited spots are available.
Percentage system:
As opposed to a flat rate rent system, we are offering subcontractors a percentage based contact whereby you will retain 60% of your earnings and pay 40% as your expenses (Includes access to all equipment and amenities).
What will you have access to:
Gym studio- Large range of strength, rehab and cardio equipment. From our ceiling mounted harness system to virtual reality headset, dumbbells, barbells and everything in between, you and your clients will never be bored again.
Clinic room- A large clinic room containing a top of the range Pilates reformer, cable tower, dumbbell tree, plinth and various resistance barbells and tools, it’s the perfect space for private 1:1 appointments for even the most apprehensive client.

Movement in Mind is a weight neutral practice with a focus on evidence based and biopsychosocial care. Although you are free to run your business how you see fit, we will only be accepting candidates willing to respect and follow our model of care.

What you need:
- Certificate III & IV in fitness
- Current First Aid
- Insurance
- ABN
- Professional registration
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience of 2 years or more
- Experience working with clients with complex needs (Disability, neurodivergent, pain etc)
- Existing client base
- Higher qualifications or education
