SalaryWe are currently looking to engage an Administrator to assist our Environmental team in the effective delivery of our Pest and Vermin contract to join our Defence Base Services in the Northern Territory, the role would see you based in Darwin but supporting all sites across the region. This is a varied role, working at both an operational and strategic level in order to identify, develop and implement programs of work to continually improve and evolve our Environmental management outcomes for Defence.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- All operational requirements are met, including thorough engaging subcontractors for pest inspections of all buildings we are contracted to inspect on the estate, as per the approval Pest Management Plan (PMP)
- Assist and update the PMP on an annual basis.
- Work Order Management
- To oversee the professional implementation of vector management activities including monitoring, reporting and control
- All operations are conducted safely.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- An ability to interact effectively with technical staff, subcontractors, senior military officers and Client representatives
- Be an Australian citizen
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance
