Pet Transport Driver

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Animal Transport Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering peoples pets to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The Animal Transport Driver will be required to operate a delivery vehicle, maintain accurate records of deliveries, and ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring people's pets are transported with care and dedication to the pets safety
• Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
• Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
• Ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• A love of animals is a must!
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
