Pharmacist - Innovative Non-Pbs Pharmacy

Our client operates a dynamic and busy pharmacy in the heart of Brisbane, specializing in opioid treatment and medicinal cannabis. They are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join their forward-thinking team. This role is perfect for those who are enthusiastic about being part of a unique pharmacy setting that differs from the traditional PBS model.

This is a permanent full-time position requiring a commitment to a rotational 7-day roster, which includes some weekend work. It is crucial for candidates to be flexible and adaptable to this scheduling requirement. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment. The pharmacy team includes dispensary technicians, a pharmacist manager, five pharmacists, and front-of-shop staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a busy non-PBS pharmacy environment with an emphasis on opioid treatment and cannabis.
• Ensuring efficient dispensary operations alongside a collaborative team.
• Engaging in innovative practices, including the potential for compounding (though not a necessity).
• Participating in the training and development in medicinal cannabis dispensing.
