Port Macquarie Pharmacy is looking for a few enthusiastic Part-Time Pharmacy Assistants to join our vibrant team in an exciting, dynamic work environment. Ideal candidates must possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for healthcare. Prior pharmacy or retail experience preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude
Assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
Maintaining a neat and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and managing inventory
Operating the cash register with precision and processing transactions courteously
Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
Requirements:
Proven experience in retail or customer service roles, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional service
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to assisting customers with their inquiries and needs
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially when handling stock, medications and transactions
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs
