Mater Foundation are looking for a Philanthropy Coordinator who has experience within the fundraising sector to join the team! This permanent, full-time role will be based at our Newstead campus.

Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900
What you’ll be doing
The Philanthropy Coordinator will provide support to the Philanthropy team in their management of strategic priorities and campaigns attributed to Major Gifts, Gifts In Wills and Trusts and Foundations.
This position will provide efficient administration support and ensure successful event delivery from concept to execution. This role will apply an organised framework to the day-to-day operations of the Philanthropy portfolio. This role facilitates the vital support required to our Philanthropy Specialists, enabling them to remain focused on achieving goals that require customised strategies to successfully steward high value current and future philanthropic relationships.
About you
You will have at least 3 years relevant work experience in a related area (administration, events).
- High level administration skills to support a variety of tasks associated with the position. This includes maintaining up-to-date financial reconciliations of philanthropic campaigns and supporter commitments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop project plans and manage stakeholders and timelines accordingly.
- Proficiency with the use of CRM which includes maximising the CRM functionality to deliver an enhanced philanthropic relationship to Mater supporters.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake thorough research using a range of tools and resources.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of relationship development in a fundraising context, including professional interactions with supporters via emails, phone and at events
- High level writing skills are essential in such areas as proposals, letters, emails, invitations and other written materials.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated reliability to complete scheduled tasks and meet deadlines given the high-volume work managed by this position. Need to be able to respond quickly to requests for materials.
