The opportunity

In this newly created role, you will assist the team in risk reduction and ensure all GWW sites are secure.

The role will involve conducting risk assessments, ensuring the protection of GWW assets, maintaining smarter and safer sites, implementing and maintaining Physical Security systems, collaborating with the technology and operational leads, and architects to ensure effective and efficient controls are in place to keep GWW safe.

Responsibilities

• Analyse changing security needs across GWW and ensure fit for purpose capabilities are implemented to manage key risks and issues, this includes installation and upgrades
• Standardise Physical Security practices across all GWW locations including communication and training to the people
• Engage with projects through providing security advice and support and ensuring that solutions proposed are fit for purpose to address business risks.
• Maintain incident response plans and playbooks to improve the processes and information sharing across team

Skills & Experience

• Experience with physical incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
• Demonstrated experience in a in hands on design, maintenance of Physical Security control systems and practices.
• A commitment to and an enthusiasm for keeping across current updates relating to security threats and solutions.
• Proactive approach to problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• A current valid Victorian driver's licence as there will be a requirement to travel to GWW offices and sites
