Adventist Schools (South Queensland) Ltd is seeking a teacher to join our team at Noosa Christian College. An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, passionate, organised teacher who is happy to be part of current team. This position is a full-time fixed term position commencing on 8th July 2024 for 6 months with opportunity for 2025.
The Secondary teacher at Noosa Christian College will be responsible for teaching the curriculum to students in Years 8,10 and 11. Subjects to be taught are 11 Physics, 10 General Science, 8 General Science and 11 General Maths. As an excellent classroom teacher, the successful applicant will have a deep and broad knowledge of current issues and best practice in education, demonstrating the capacity to work harmoniously with teams, whether in supervisory, collegial, or advisory contexts. While the position is open to all applicants, experience in Secondary Science is highly desirable.
Noosa Christian College is a K-12 school situated in the Cooroy Hinterland within a rural setting of 11.4 ha. The College has an enrolment of approximately 465 and provides a family atmosphere where students have a close and supportive contact with their teachers and peers. Application Requirements
The successful applicant will hold a relevant teaching qualification (degree level) and be eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers to teach in Queensland. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the college.

Salary Range
$70 000 - $117 000 per annum (as per Seventh-day Adventist Schools (South Qld) Ltd. Enterprise Agreement).
