About the role
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Physiotherapist to join MercyCare on permanent Full-time basis. This role will initially be working between two residential aged care homes in Maddington and Kelmscott. You will be responsible for supporting and assessing the physical mobility of our residents enabling them to live their best lives. One of the key responsibilities of this role is designing, reviewing and implementing physiotherapy interventions and programs. In this role you will be focused on providing best possible care, encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing.
Our new state of the art Maddington home is due to open in the first half of 2024. This 108 bed home has exceptional facilities with a dedicated gym and all new equipment. This is a rare opportunity for you to join a brand new Aged Care Facility.

About you
You are dynamic and self-motivated Physiotherapist, who is looking to join a committed and enthusiastic team. You’ll share the same caring approach we have for our residents and bring:
- Bachelor Qualification in Physiotherapy
- Demonstrated experience as a physiotherapist
- Current AHPRA registration (certificate and registration number to be uploaded during the application process)
- Knowledge of Aged Care standards
- Effectively use a healthcare IT system, such as iCare
- Evidence of Covid and Influenza Vaccination (preferable)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
