There's a new opening available for a Physiotherapist to become part of the Aged Care Day Therapy Center situated in Darwin. This position offers full-time permanent employment, though it could also be tailored to accommodate a schedule of 3 days per week, with 8 hours per day.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking comprehensive, holistic assessments and reassessments for each client;
- Ensuring that appropriately trained and competent staff are deployed to undertake any delegated tasks;
- Monitoring documentation and reporting to ensure requirements are met;
- Receiving and responding to feedback from care staff and ensuring timely and effective responses to client changes and needs;
- Effectively communicating with line managers and all relevant staff information/issues/concerns relating to clients' needs;
- Building highly supportive and positive relationships with the client, their family, and medical advisors as appropriate;
- Ensuring all staff as appropriate have a thorough understanding of their role and responsibilities, performance expectations, accreditation standards, policies, and procedures that apply to the provision of clinical care;
- You will document and maintain up-to-date, clear, and accurate client plans, and records and meet administrative requirements in accordance with policy, procedures, and funding guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
- AHPRA registration with no condition;
- At least 1 year of rehabilitation experience in Aged Care is highly desirable;
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work and to be flexible in dealing with constantly

- Degree Qualified in Allied Health discipline and registration with the appropriate board
REMUNERATION
$115,00 – 120,000 + super.
