About the roleThe role of this Physiotherapist in Rehabilitation - Level 1 / 2 will be to work within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure a high standard of Physiotherapy service is provided to patients of the hospital, along with appropriate support and advice to their carers.This full-time fixed-term contract position is until July 2025 and works within the philosophy and core values of our company to ensure that the service is tailored to the needs of the individual clients and delivered in a style that aims to maximise their satisfaction.
About you- A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
- Practical experience or knowledge in providing Physiotherapy Services in an inpatient Rehabilitation setting.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and ability to implement evidence-based practice.
- Empathy and patience.
- A current driver's licence and safe driving record.
- Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services.
Desirable- Experience providing rehabilitation services in outpatient/community settings.
- Strong administrative and computer skills.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- An understanding of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures
