An exciting opportunity exists for a Part Time Paediatric Physiotherapist to join the team at Wollongong Hospital. This 16 hour a week paediatric position is predominantly outpatient based, but will also be required to provide inpatient cover.

What you'll be doing

Provide and deliver high quality physiotherapy services to paediatric patients consistent with ISLHD policies, procedures, guidelines and standards while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra and Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has bed base of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

  • Current Physiotherapy Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Post-graduate experience in paediatric physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrated high levels of oral and written communication skills including the proficient use of health based technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to the delivery of quality service.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the application of evidence based practice and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to ISLHD CORE values.
  • Current NSW Health Drivers Licence or equivalent.
