About the role
Regis is now seeking an experienced Physiotherapist on a full-time permanent basis to join the Regis Hollywood Day Therapy Centre in Nedlands WA. This role will report directly to the General Manager and provide high quality therapeutic services to older people living in the community including retirement villages and be responsible for the provision of physical and mental wellbeing of our valued clients. You will have experience with planning, managing and delivering high-quality care, conducting detailed and wide-ranging comprehensive assessments and care plans.
Role Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive, holistic assessments including wellness and re-enablement reviews for each client.
- Plan, implement and review appropriate preventive and therapeutic care programs in consultation with clients, to meet their wellness and re-enablement needs.
- Manage individual and group Physiotherapist sessions.
- Document therapeutic care plans and schedule clinical reviews when required.
- Regularly review and update care plans to reflect changes in client’s health circumstances and needs.
- Build highly supportive and positive relationships with the client, their family, medical advisors and external agencies.
Skills & Experience
- Experience and passion for working within the aged care sector.
- Experience working within community services programs, specifically CHSP (highly regarded)
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy capabilities.
Mandatory requirements for all candidates
- Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health (Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy.
- COVID Vaccination x 3 or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered*
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
- Current police check (under 6 months, full disclosure unsupervised vulnerable people)
- Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications.
