Job description

Want to make more money and get back half your day to head to the beach, workout, or chill with friends?

Then the Veteran Health Association (VHA) is for you.

With us, you’ll have great flexibility, make more money, and have more time to enjoy your day (so you can head to the beach, workout, hang with friends…so many options!).

A typical day of service delivery (full-time) runs from 7am till lunchtime (plus a little bit of time for admin work). So it’s the best of both worlds; more money while knocking off around lunchtime!!!

There are also opportunities to work part-time.

Here’s how it works.

  • We provide the clients and the space, plus administrative, operational, and clinical support.
  • We’ll provide you with a proven framework that helps hundreds of veterans each year.
  • We’ll train you in the framework and provide ongoing support.
  • You’ll practise out of health clubs and work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside an exercise physiologist and a psychologist.
  • You and your team will work with referring GPs to develop and deliver tailored treatment plans.

At VHA, no two days are the same, and that’s exactly how our teams like it.

They don’t take themselves too seriously (fun socks have become a part of our uniform!). They do, however, work hard and offer first class customer service.

Our teams love what they do and feel a strong sense of purpose in supporting veterans to transform their lives. They’re also reassured knowing that we’re a growing company that provides opportunities to progress.

As innovators, we welcome new ideas and people with diverse backgrounds and interests. While working within our framework, there’s flexibility to make the program your own. So whether you’re into surfing, yoga, or boxing, you can work with us to integrate your passions and help shape future program initiatives.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to join one of our rock star teams, then please read on.

ABOUT VHA

We’re an organisation that’s dedicated to improving the physical and mental health of veterans.

We provide health care services through our Veterans’ Better Life Program; a program we created back in 2015 because we saw a gap in traditional veteran health care. Veterans were typically treated in silos that didn’t address known barriers to getting help.

We saw an opportunity to do things differently, to do things better. We created an integrated multidisciplinary program that’s tailored and treats each person as a whole.

Our successful program has become a leading front-line service for veterans. It’s now available at multiple locations on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Tweed Shire. We’re also expanding to new locations.
