ABOUT US
Peninsula Community Physiotherapy was established over 3 years ago to provide high level physiotherapy and allied health assistant support to a growing number of clients in the Mornington Peninsula region and surrounds. It has since grown exponentially and now provides Occupational Therapy, Support Worker, Physiotherapy, Allied Health assistant and First Aid services to a wide range of clients not only on the Mornington Peninsula but also in the Western and Eastern regions of greater Melbourne.

ABOUT YOU
Our clients are quite varied in their presentation and needs but generally range from paediatrics clients with developmental delays or neurological conditions, aged care clients with wide ranging needs, neurological clients of varying complexity from mild stroke to multiple neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions and also some mental health clients. Our therapy is mostly provided in clients homes, at regional centres or community facilities such as the local hydrotherapy pool or gym. As a result you will need to be flexible, creative and have a can do attitude demonstrating a willingness to accept new challenges and learn new tools and skills to meet our clients needs. Having a broad understanding of the different fields of physiotherapy provision including cardio-pulmonary, childhood development, neurological conditions and musculoskeletal physiotherapy is desirable however we provide excellent support to our staff including professional development, further training and courses as well as regular feedback and support in managing your clients and treatment sessions. Subsequently whilst that experience is ideal we are well placed to support a therapist with experience in only some of these areas that has a willingness to challenge themselves, to learn, grow and develop as a clinician, is adaptable and creative and willing to try new things.
Requirements include:
AHPRA registration
National Police Check
Working With Children Check
First Aid Level 2 certificate
CPR certificate
Valid Drivers Licence
The Position is for a Physiotherapist, working full time hours (76 hours per fortnight) spread across Monday to Friday, generally working during the hours of 9am to 5pm with some flexibility/possibility of working some longer days 8.30am to 6pm and some shorter days dependent upon clients needs but no weekend work or after hours work (outside 8am to 6pm)
