Role Description
Joint Vision Orthopaedic Group is seeking a part-time on-site Physiotherapist for their Wollongong, NSW location. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients; developing and implementing personalised exercise and rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance post surgery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in Australia
Experience in orthopaedics, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders
Experience in manual therapy, exercise prescription, force plate strength testing, electrotherapy modalities ie. Shockwave (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, allied health, nursing, radiology and support staff
Commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
