We are looking for an experienced and AQF Cert 3qualifications as a Picture Framer with a minimum 2 years of experience within the framing industry. The ideal candidate must have A keen eye for detail, prioritizes quality, and works with a positive attitude. Customer service excellence, requiring the ability to engage customers personally and excel in a fast-paced setting. Physically fit for manual handling duties. (Carrying glass sheets, moulding boxes, mat boxes, etc.) Experience with Valiani CMC is preferred, along with strong problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, particularly in design consultations to ensure customer framing needs are not just met but exceeded. Collaboration within a friendly team environment. About the role and responsibilities: Cutting, joining, and finishing picture frames. Cutting glass, perspex and mdf. Stretching canvases, jumpers and other textiles. Mounting artworks. Quality control. Conducting framing design consultations with clients. Assisting in decision-making processes. Maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace. Preparing artworks for framing. Providing customer service and administrative support.
