SalaryJoin an organisation supporting the global energy transition as a long term supplier of critical battery metals. The role of Pilot Plant Operator is to actively operate and maintain Pilot Plants while maintaining target operating setpoints and recording all necessary data.
This role will perform rostered 12-hour shift work, specifically 3 Day, 4 Night, 3 off followed by 4 days, 3 nights, 4 off.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup of Pilot Plants
- Monitor Pilot Plant operations, ensuring target operating setpoints are maintained
- Operate Pilot Plant equipment in accordance with training and operating procedures
- Identify and report maintenance issues as they arise during operations and assist in the rectification of minor issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist Pilot Plant Supervisor and Project Manager with ad hoc requirements.
Requirements :
- Pilot plant operation experience in a laboratory or plant setting desirable
- Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician or Metallurgical Technician, hydrometallurgy experience preferred
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
