Pirtek Oil and Gas Pty Ltd, located in Henderson, is dedicated to providing the oil and gas industry, both locally and internationally with premium quality hose assemblies and testing, certification and hose analysis services.
We are seeking Three enthusiastic people to join our team on a full-time basis as a Pipe & Hose Testing Technicians, which includes all aspects of inspecting, testing and analysing data, along with some assembly work. Compliance with the many codes and guidelines of assembly and testing of hoses is critical to maintaining the excellent service credibility of Pirtek and maintain the safety targets of our clients.
To be suitable for this role, the applicant should possess the following:
- 5 years + Experience in testing hoses and pipes
- Hydrostatic pressure, leak, burst, electrical continuity testing codes in AS and ISO standards and procedures
- Analyse hose assembly failures
- Mechanical and technical aptitude
- Strong work ethic
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Have the right to live and work without restriction in Australia

Training and test evaluations will be provided irrespective of experience and will include the following;
- NATA hydrostatic pressure, leak, burst, electrical continuity testing codes in AS and ISO standards and procedures.
- Analyse hose assembly failures, providing support to provide solutions for our clients
- Hydraulic, industrial, water blast, oilfield hose assembly to ISO, AS, EN and API standards
- Internal assembly, testing, inspection, and special customer work instructions
A salary package commensurate with experience will be offered to the successful candidate
Salary range : $70,000 to $75,000
