About the role
UGL Fuels & Energy East are seeking for experience Pipe Welders to join our turnaround team. Commencing early March you will join our pre-shut team in preparation for this year’s upcoming events. Working in a petrochemical environment you will have demonstrated previous site experience in a major hazardous facility. Initially the position will work 8.75 hours per day, Tuesday to Friday increasing during turnaround execution to 6 days per week 10-hour shifts.
These roles are casual based at Geelong, Victoria and local applicants are encouraged to apply.
About you

Previous experience working in a shutdown environment preferably in continuous processing plant
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification - required
- Welding Certificate 4 – required
- Welding Certificate 7 – required
- Must be able to pass a weld test in 6G position on pipe
- Demonstrated experience with oxy cutting and gouging
- High Risk Work Licence – WP – preferred
- Driver’s Licence – highly regarded
- Enter confined space qualification – required
- Safe work at heights qualification – required
- Construction Induction - required
