The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pit and pipe systems for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of civil construction practices, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, and maintenance of pit and pipe systems for Electrical and telecommunications networks.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of installed systems.
- Coordinate with team members, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
- Complete necessary documentation, including work reports and safety records.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pit and pipe installations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in civil construction, particularly in pit and pipe installation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Proficiency in operating construction equipment and tools.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
