About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Planner/Scheduler to join our team on a seconded basis for a major oil and gas provider. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintenance and shutdown planning within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is initially for 12 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.
Position: Planner/Scheduler
Location: Major Oil and Gas Provider in Brisbane
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Duration: 12 Months ( Initial Contract with Potential for Extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules for maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Utilize MS Project and P6 to create, update, and maintain project schedules.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence to project timelines.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and provide solutions to mitigate delays.
- Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and deliverables.
- Support other scheduling activities as required by the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance and shutdown planning within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in MS Project and P6 is essential.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
