Planning and Environment | Lawyer - up to 4 years PAE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Environment Paralegal up to a Lawyer to join this long established, national commercial law firm in their Brisbane office.

The successful candidate will join a well resourced, highly regarded team with a strong pipeline of work - you will not be twiddling your thumbs.

About You:

Ideally, you will be a paralegal* or a lawyer with up to four (4) years PAE, with an interest in developing a career in Planning & Environment Law. 

*If you offer experience or exposure in Planning and Environment Law this would be highly desirable. 

You will have carriage of your own file load and every opportunity to appear before the court. You will work closely with senior lawyers and an experienced Partner working across all areas of Planning and Environmental law including :

• litigation matters in the P&E Court;
• environmental impact assessments, 
• planning scheme amendments and approvals, 
• project approvals under State and Federal legislation, 
• land acquisition and access, 
• regulatory compliance, enforcement, litigation and disputes.
