The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator based at our Scottsdale site Tasmania. The purpose of this role is to operate the mobile and fixed plant at the Scottsdale PDC maintaining the site to a high level for the safe, cost effective and reliable operation.
Reporting To The Site Coordinator Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Participate in company safety initiatives-Take 5, JSA ,CTW, SAO Incident reporting. Environmental standards are complied with and any audits and actions from then are completed.
- Ensuring customer service standards are met –truck turnaround time, correct products loaded, paperwork completed, input of data into SAP
- Competent and safe operation of fixed and mobile plant, daily checks, routines and audits are carried out.
- Maintaining a safe and clean workplace that does not affect local community or site efficiency.
- Ensuring stock takes are carried out, advise coordinator of stock resupplies and discrepancies.
You'll Also Come With
- The ability to Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and be willing to champion in-house processes including: Permits to Work, JSAs, Work Instructions & Take 5 processes
- You’ll be willing/ capable of working with exposure to manual handling tasks
- An unrestricted drivers licence
- Hold a current Fork-lift licence or be willing/ able to obtain the licence
- Competent in the operation of a front end loader, or willing to undertake the training
- Computer literate with exposure to SAP programs or similar
