Job Description:
We're seeking an assembly line worker with experience in a manufacturing environment such as shutters, blinds, awnings or security products. Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, load, and offload light metal products, windows, and doors. Avid on-the-job learner excited to apply acquired knowledge while advancing skills set for the benefit of assisting with the growth of GC Blinds and Shutters.
Responsibilities
- General shop labour and other tasks assigned
- Loading/offloading light components such as Blinds and Screens
- Assembly of our shutter products (use of power tools).
- Working on the production line and meeting production targets
- Occasional local deliveries to job sites using a company vehicle
- Occasional pick up of supplies at local vendors using a company vehicle
- Shop cleaning and organisation
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own transportation
- Good attitude and ability to work well in a busy and dynamic team environment
- Basic hand skills in handling tools and building metal products
- Ability to lift and carry
- Follow health and safety protocols
Located at Currumbin Waters Factory - Casual Wage Rate - Full-Time Hours.
