The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) leads the Australian Government’s efforts to improve cyber security and help make Australia the most secure place to connect online. About the Role
ASD Business, Policy and Administration Officers and Managers support ASD’s senior executive leadership through:
- The provision of strategic and operational support on a wide range of tasking and topics.
- Management of administrative and business management tasking to deliver high quality business outcomes in accordance with deadlines.
- Demonstrating exceptional organisation and time management skills, with the ability to plan, multi-task and prioritise shifting and competing deadlines and requirements.
- Applying excellent judgement, problem solving skills and taking initiative.
- Effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders including anticipating stakeholder needs to achieve productive outcomes;
- Contributing to strategic planning, program and project management and policy development;
- Leveraging their knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks and government decision-making
- Interpreting relevant policies and legislation and providing high level advice and executive support.
- Preparing complex documentation including briefs, correspondence, reports, minutes; and agendas;
- Producing, distributing, and coordinating meeting packs and other documents;
- Coordination of financial and governance arrangements relating to procurement activities
