Plastering Apprenticeship - Commercial

Specialised Plaster & Construction are currently looking to employ a new 1st Year Plastering Apprentice in the Commerical Construction Industry. 

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who wants to pride themselves on their reliability, quality of work, efficiency and sense of professionalism.  This is a 4-year apprenticeship, in which time we will teach you all aspects of Plastering. While completing a Nationally Recognised qualification you will also be mentored by a very supportive team. You will be required to work a 38-hour week (including TAFE training) 7am - 3.30pm.

The Role

• Building metal stud partitions and suspended ceilings.
• Fixing plasterboard & fibre cement sheeting.
• Applying finishing compounds.
• Installing fire rated & acoustic wall/ceiling systems.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes.

• Driver's license and/or own transport preferred.
• Ability to undertake manual/physical work.
• Strong commitment and work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Good communication skills.
