The Role:
The successful applicant will be a member of small efficient manufacturing & batching team, working Tuesday to Thursday each week on a 12-hour shifts roster, with additional hours available from time to time.
The successful candidate will be on day shift for a period for orientation and training.
Role Responsibilities:
Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to, ensuring Safety is our Top Priority
Ensure our plant and machinery is operated to correct operating procedures and standards
Manufacture our products to specified quality standards
Be responsible for our equipment and work area
Ensure our plant and work areas are maintained to set standards
Report production data accurately and timely including waste, work in process, raw material needs, etc
Ensure the lubrication and greasing schedule is followed for preventative maintenance
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
More than two years of experience operating either a press line or extrusion sheet machine
Good mechanical understanding of extrusion and granulation machinery
Holding a current Forklift licence would be advantageous
Participate in relevant training and development
Have good communication and organizational skills
Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Be able to work independently
