The Platform Lead reports directly to the Head of Analytics & Engineering and is responsible for operating the new Enterprise Data Platform and supporting the solutions within it.
You will work closely with the Data Engineering Team and architects to drive the delivery of projects and ensure the right level of quality. As part of the leadership team within Platform engineering, the role will be a major contributor to defining the cloud strategy. They will include operation practices, standards and processes that require Governance and review.

Responsibility's
- Strong platform implementation experience with DevOps and agile delivery
- Contribute to the development of technology life cycle strategies.
- Optimise cloud operating costs by implementing DevOps automation techniques and tooling.
Requirements
- Experience in Agile program / scaled frameworks in project delivery.
- Strong Cloud experience across (Azure / AWS - preferred
- Cloud formation / terraform nice to have.
- Extensive experience in operational roles demonstrated but running production and delivery.
- Experience in understanding TCO with cloud enabled Data and ability to manage optimization and scheduling.
- Platform engineering experience (Infrastructure / DevOps)
- Proven Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- String code management CI/CD, Modular design.
