The Platform Product Owner is accountable to identify, develop and deliver initiatives to support the execution of Digital Insurer delivery across the Insurance Technology platforms whilst driving continuous improvement and uplift of the engineering capability.
They are responsible to lead the cross-functional squads within the Insurance Technology Delivery Enablement Platform, to deliver the scoped outcomes and deliverables, supporting overall delivery of the Digital Insurer program. Product Owners leverage a unique set of skills to set clear missions, ruthlessly prioritise work, and enable their Squads.
What you'll do
- Accountable for daily commercial decisions and removing blockers on behalf of the squad
- Responsible and accountable for translating the Tribe vision into Squad missions, ensuring Squad members deliver on the desired outcomes
- Responsible for discovery and experimentation of ideas and delivers solutions
- Responsible and accountable for the squad backlog, ensuring outcomes are delivered
- Accountable and responsible to design and drive InsureTech platforms engineering uplift roadmaps specifically targeting improvements across DevOps and Quality Automation practices
- Accountable for delivery of engineering frameworks, including guard rails, principles, gold standards and best practice
- Responsible to lead squads of technical nature to assist and deliver complex infrastructure and design decisions and frameworks
- Accountable and responsible to drive the strategic vision of the Insurance Technology Engineering
What you'll bring
- Minimum 3 years project management experience across a diverse range of domains and processes
- Minimum 2 years of technical project delivery experience
- Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels within an organisation
- Proven ability to solve complex delivery problems
- Experienced in various project management disciplines - PMBOK, Agile, SAFE.
- Experience leading technical teams
- Experience in DevOps, Quality Engineering, Testing Automation (Highly desired)
