AddressWe are looking for two PLTs to assist our legal team in the running of criminal and traffic law cases.
We regularly appear for a wide range of criminal and traffic matters and our lawyers have been featured on many news outlets.
About the role
We have a position available for an eligible student to undertake volunteer work at our firm.
In this role, you will be exposed to a wide range of criminal and traffic matters.
- Liaising with external parties, such as the court, police, prosecutors, witnesses, barristers and other lawyers
- Case Specific Legal research
- Drafting legal documents, such as briefs to counsel, subpoenas, written submissions, affidavits and witness statements and preparation of defence briefs
- Attending court with lawyers and barristers we instruct
- Appearing in in procedural or administrative proceedings (mentions); and
- Other administrative and clerical duties.
*The role is an Unpaid Position which can potentially lead to a paid position.
