PLT Work Experience Placement

Australian Clinical Labs is an ASX listed, third largest pathology provider in Australia with its head office in Clayton. We are offering an in-house PLT Work Experience placement on a full time or part-time basis with hybrid work arrangement.

Your duties will involve:

• Meeting, communicating and interacting with internal and or external stakeholders;
• File management, inputting, retrieving and maintaining accurate client and matter information, status and communication record;
• Interacting with external legal service providers such as solicitors in other organisations;
• Legal research and legal factual analysis;
• Considering ethical and professional responsibility issues;
• Drafting and reviewing correspondence and legal documents;
• Inputting, searching and administration of Legal Document Management Software LEX;
• Exposure to internal management processes;
• Brief overview of linked Financial and accounting systems; and
• Administrative activities which support the delivery of legal services.

To be successful in this placement you will possess:

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Strong technological capabilities including the ability to use Microsoft Office suite

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong organisational and time management skills

·         Previous legal experience
