WANTED Plumber.
Chandler Macleod is supporting our client in South West Victoria, who has numerous opportunities across varying departments of their Australian, family owned business. Our client values production of the highest quality meat and proudly oversees every stage of meat processing. They stand out within the industry by owning their own farms, factories, and distribution networks, and emulate the paddock to plate movement.
We are seeking a skillful and qualified plumber who has a sound knowledge of the Plumbing Code, Australian Standards, and of all tasks and activities related to new installations. Working in conjunction with the maintenance crew, your responsibilities would include installation and planning of hot & cold water systems, bores, sewers, storm water drainage as well as assembly and installation of plant, air handling and air condition equipment. The ability to interpret plumbing system layouts and material estimation is a requirement.
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Prerequisites
- Plumbing license and/or other relevant qualification
- Sound knowledge of the tasks and activities associated with new installations, in accordance with the Plumbing Code & Australian Standards
- Gas fitting license (preferred)
- Are vaccinated against Q fever, or are willing to receive a Q fever vaccine
- You must pass a drug & alcohol test, and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
