• Knowledge of the Water Industry Act 2012
• knowledge of the National Construction Code Series, comprehensive knowledge of the NCC Volume 3 (the Plumbing Code of Australia).
• Comprehensive knowledge of the AS/NZS 3500 Plumbing and drainage standard suite (Parts 1, 2, 4) and knowledge of referenced standards under the AS/NZS 3500 series.
• Knowledge of Australian Standard AS 2845 Water Supply-Backflow prevention devices.

Essential Qualifications:

• South Australian Plumbing Trade qualification of a full (unrestricted) plumbing workers licence or equivalent interstate or overseas qualifications that has been recognised under a reciprocal licencing agreement with the South Australian Office of Consumer Business Services is essential.
• Conditions of the qualification will read in part “Advanced Plumber – Can perform any plumbing work”. Alternatively, to be considered for the position the applicant must be willing to upgrade an existing plumbing licence within set timeframes.

Remuneration:
OPS5, $80,877 - $86,461 per annum
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per weekSpecial Conditions:

• The position is based in the Adelaide Metropolitan area or other such agreed locations
• Some intra-state and inter-state travel, with overnight absences, will be required
• Car class driver's licence is essential.
