About the role
The Calibration Engineer (CE) is responsible for providing professional and timely technology support to SA Pathology and its customer base by:
- Undertaking a range of tasks involving the calibration, planned and remedial maintenance of biomedical and other equipment, devices and instrumentation to appropriate standards and to accurately document the results.
- Applying professional judgement, knowledge and practice in the provision of Calibration Engineering service and contributing to continuous improvement activities
- Liaising with laboratory staff, outside agencies and contractors on technical matters
- The CE is a hands on Engineer within a small multi-discipline team.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering and eligible for professional membership with Engineers Australia (IEAUST).
