You will be working in both hospital and community settings
What you'll be doing
Provision of high quality, evidence based care to patients of the Podiatry and High Risk Foot Services from our well-equipped department. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes dietitians, diabetes educators, an orthotist, aboriginal health team, AHA and vascular surgeon.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of evidenced based Podiatry service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
- Proven ability to exercise professional judgement commensurate with years of experience and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency networks.
