Podiatrist - Locum

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

PODIATRIST (LOCUM) (4-24 WEEK CONTRACT AVAILABLE) 

JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for an experienced Podiatrist to work across Regional Victoria and Queensland (hospital and community) for a locum position. 
You will be working with an enthusiastic multi- disc team in a stunning location, with opportunities for outreach to other locations

• Beautiful Reginal locations Vic and QLD
• Accommodation/ travel allowance 
• Immediate start 
• Potential to extend contract (4-24 week contract available) 
• Mon- Fri (no weekends)
• Generalist caseload

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• High-level knowledge, expertise, and skill in generalist podiatry clinical practice across the full continuum of care, with particular experience treating high risk diabetic feet. 
• Able to independently apply evidence-based principles to treat complex podiatry problems, with limited discipline specific supervision, utilising principles of cultural safety and responsiveness, and with an awareness of issues that impact on the complexity of service delivery in a cross cultural and remote area context.
• Knowledge of contemporary service delivery within a cross cultural environment with a high proportion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people, including principles of cultural safety and responsiveness, workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination and collaborative practice.

• AHPRA registered
  
• High-risk foot skills
• First Aid Certification
• Valid National Police Clearance
• Must have valid Drivers License 
• Demonstrated ability to use effective communication skills
• Ability to build rapport quickly & maintain relationships with all clients
• Problem solving, prioritising & time management skills
