There are 26 bones in a foot.
You already knew that.
There are 33 joints in a human foot.
You already knew that.
In fact you probably know the name of each one.
Does it bother you then, when you are bogged down with tasks that are outside of your scope?
Do you add more to a team when you can focus on the things that only YOU know?
Do you want to have the opportunity to excel every time you come in contact with those 26 bones and 33 joints?
As a podiatrist in this Brisbane Based team you will be supported, by leadership, admin, your peers and the robust systems and processes in place, to do YOUR job - not that of 5 others. In this team you will feel the conscious efforts of your peers to keep you on track, and moving about your day in a sustainable way. You'll only ever be expected to come in at 8am, attend to your clients, and go home at 4pm every day. After decades of experience, lessons have been learned - the most important being that the skills and expertise of clinicians is a very valuable resource in this organisation, and should always be treated as such.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a Clinic setting, Residential Aged Care, Home Care and with NDIS clients in the community, and you'll have access to a pool car every time you need to get out in the field. The Admin Team and Practice Managers have your day planned out with clients, but you'll have time set aside each morning to get a lay of the land and prepare. The Allied Health Assistants will take care of sterilisation etc, giving you time in-between your clients to write notes and prepared for the next one - if there are any orthotics or shoes sold, any billing is handled by the Admin Team. If you need support when you come across something new, you have Senior Clinicians, Practice Managers, a dedicated NDIS support person and your line manager to help - you will not be left to fend for yourself.
What you'll bring to the role:
- There is space and support for new grads through to senior clinicians
- 3 days a weeks through to Full Time availability
- A valid driver's license
- A degree in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration
There is a strong emphasis on team work at this organisation - everyone performing their roles to the best of their ability to support each other towards a common goal. If you share this belief and thrive in a team environment - please apply.
