SalaryThe Advocacy/Policy Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the Advocacy strategy for General Practice Residents' Association (GPRA).
This position involves supporting the CEO with the development of government relations, advocacy agenda, and strategic communications in line with GPRAs Strategic Plan 23-26. The incumbent will work towards strengthening GPRA as the leading and trusted independent voice on issues related to the future of general practice such as education/training, employment and other related primary health care matters.
This role will ensure the members' voices of GPRA are represented to key funders and policy makers. The Advisor will be responsible for monitoring the sector landscape, preparing information and producing written materials.
This role will be responsible for research and preparing relevant GPRA policy statements/positions and correspondence as well as helping support, where applicable, GPRA member working party’s and Advisory Committees. A full position description is available from ***@gpra.org.au
