How will I help?
The Portfolio Risk Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the risk management of our credit portfolio. This position involves working on projects, portfolio insights, regulator requests, and optimisation initiatives to ensure the timely and effective implementation of risk management strategies.
Key responsibilities:
  • Utilise an analytical background to leverage data, reporting, and analysis for optimizing risk management within the credit portfolio.
  • Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to foster a deeper understanding of the credit risk portfolio and actively engage in initiatives.
  • Provide strategic thinking and analytics to support project work and external programs, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance portfolio insights by fostering collaboration across various teams.

What do I need?
You'll hold Tertiary qualifications in Maths, Statistics, Quantitative, Business, or equivalent business experience. You possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to articulate clear and concise recommendations. With practical experience with reporting and visualisation tools, such as Tableau along with hands-on experience in running queries on SRDE/Group Data Warehouse or equivalent systems. Prior experience in risk or credit-related roles is preferred but not essential.
