It starts with YES!At Optus, we have an ambitious goal to be Australia’s most loved everyday brand.As the Portfolio Test Manager, you will oversee the delivery of performance, automation and testing services across all Optus based Test Management Office (TMO) projects. You will have direct responsibility for verifying the quality of Optus IT developed solutions, and ensure the delivered solutions meet the technical and commercial needs of the business.In your new role, you will directly interact with vendors and project partners to ensure performance and automation test activities across all TMO based projects are completed inline with the Optus IT standards. Given your outstanding customer service skills, you will be the central point for test teams while providing expert performance, automation and consultation services.You are someone who thrives working on continuous improvement initiatives across test tools, processes and infrastructure and you have a passion for growing the efficiency and effectiveness of TMO test services.Your skills to pay the bills
- Work with project resources to support end user set up, inquiries of tool usage and training
- Maintain and publish guidelines to support the use of test tools and ensure compliance for audit processes
- Develop test metrics tracking and reporting, using test tool data (licences, usage and performance)
- Maintain ‘test tool’ technical expertise by keeping current with evolving changes and sharing knowledge with colleagues
- Oversight of the 'test tools' support services and oversee service providers are meeting the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Proactively search test tools that can improve quality codes, test coverage, reduce manual effort and cost
- An IT or related tertiary qualification
- ISTQB/ISEB Certification
- Proven programming experience in Java, NodeJS, web services, IDE tools, mobile and web test automation & performance testing frameworks
- Significant experience in virtualization, Test tool management, Automation and Performance technologies
- Expert knowledge of test tools and designing technical frameworks.
- (e.g. ALM QC/PC v12.00 or higher, JIRA, Tricentis Neoload, Microfocus LRE Selenium with Cucumber/Ruby, Jenkins)
- Expert knowledge of monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Elastic search & Kibana, APM.
- Familiar with Microsoft and Unix/Linux operating systems.
