- operation of Piling Rig within manufacturers specifications and direction of site civil engineers;
- carrying out dismantling, moving and reassembling Piling Rig and accessory plant;
- working with driller offsiders to effectively eliminate operating risks;
- performance of minor maintenance and repairs, including cleaning and lubrication of Piling Rig;
- documenting rig performance and maintenance of operator's log books;
- safe operation of Piling Rig, including implementing fall protection measures for open piles;
- Drill and construct foundation piles, bored piles and CFA piles, shoring piles, soldier, contiguous and secant pile walls, sheet piling and screw piling (including pile casing installation, reo installation, etc.);
- monitoring operation of Piling Rig and ensuring safety of site workers during drilling operations;
- liaison with company diesel mechanics to ensure effective Piling Rig maintenance;
- operation of auxiliary plant such as pumps to expel water and mud;
- positioning of spoil in appropriate site locations, subject to site constraints.
- AQF Certificate II or III, or at least one year of relevant experience;
- Demonstrated experience in Piling Rig operations;
- Proficiency in the English language;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong understanding of workplace WHS procedures;
