Located at the Faculty of Engineering on the Darlington CampusOpportunity to make valuable contributions to research in green hydrogen production supported by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency Research (ARENA) Accelerating Commercialisation (TRAC) ProgramBase salary, Level A, $105,350 - $112,462 p.a. + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe University of Sydney are seeking to appoint 2 x Postdoctoral Researcher inElectrochemistry and Chemical Engineering Research to work within research groups led by Prof. Antonio Tricoli and Dr. Fengwang Li in the .The team has advanced research on electrocatalyst design, electrochemistry, electrolyser engineering, and green hydrogen production. You will be given the opportunity to work collaboratively with a motivated team of early career researchers and PhDs on water electrolysis. Within the team, you will be given the opportunity to expand your research skills and experience and to grow in your career as a mentee and a mentor, and to expand your research network when liaising with collaborative research partners.To learn more about the team leads at Faculty of Engineering, click for Prof. Antonio Tricoli and for Dr. Fengwang Li.Your key responsibilities will be to:contribute and co-lead the research program and milestones of the ARENA TRAC Program Projectexplore new research for furthering scientific understandings, breakthroughs and impact, assist in developing new research proposals and build and expand new research collaboration opportunitiesassist in intellectual property protection and in liaising with industry partners for technology transferprepare presentations for disseminating research and manuscripts for publication in high impact scientific journalsassist in the supervision of undergraduate, masters and PhD students within Professor Tricoli’s and Dr Li’s groupswork with other team members on establishing and maintaining best practice protocols for safe and efficient operation of the groups’ laboratories.About youThe University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity.
